REPLACING THE BOOB LIGHT
I know that the boob light serves a purpose but if I'm being honest, I really hate them. They're neutral, they're cheap, and I get why builders use them - but people, we have so many other options out there and it's the easiest thing to change out. My Dad taught my sisters and I lots of handy things when we were younger, so I know how easy it is to switch out a ceiling light fixture. Now ask me why I'm just now getting to changing mine out. Answer is: because I have time, because I've been sitting in my kitchen "office" for the last 2 weeks starting at it, and because I realized that 1. since I am going to be sitting at this "desk" for many more weeks if not months and 2. I can't redo the entry way without changing that light - it will bother me like no other - now is the time.
Being that I'm 100% libra, and have a true problem making hard decisions - I need your help. Below I've narrowed down my light fixture replacement options to four. If you remember from a couple of weeks ago, the wallpaper that I ordered (praying it will be here later today) is shown below. Also shown is the current boob light, and the gigantic vent that I will have to paint black and wallpaper around. Out of the 4 options below, which do you think would be the best in this space? I am leaning towards one - but I want to see what you guys think first.
Depending on which fixture I go with, will determine what décor I use on the wall. Originally I was thinking a mirror, but I'm also thinking of adding either artwork or a sculpture piece instead. I want this space to have a big pop and presence - so we'll see what I can find. I'll be posting about wall décor next week. In the interim, if you have any ideas - I'm all ears!

UPDATE: I ended up going with the vintage hanging tiered light and can’t wait for it to get here. It’s coming all the way from Slovenia so it may be a while - but it' is certainly worth the wait. I’ll keep you posted!
