My New Favorite Secondhand Find

A couple of weeks ago during one of @winston_drive amazing IG sales, I was drawn to this black and brass tin and decided to purchase it. Initially I thought I would place all of my matchbooks inside because it never fails, every time I go to light a candle, I can NEVER find matches. This tin would allow me to have the matches all in one centralized place so I didn't have to tear my apartment up every time I wanted to light a candle. 

Then I had another idea! I decided that instead of placing my matchbooks inside, I was going to turn this tin into one large match holder simply by adding some adhesive match striker paper (Amazon, $6) to the bottom. See below for the full (extremely easy) process.

I love how it turned out and think this would be a great gift idea to pair with a candle, don’t you?
