I love the hand-painted design of this mug. It took me hours to paint and I just love how it turned out. Please note that while the color may look black on the screen, it is actually dark brown. Perfect to use as a mug, a makeup brush holder, even a vase! There is no handle attached.

With pottery in general, you can countless hours of love and care into each piece, but then you have to turn everything over to the mercy of the firing kiln. Within that kiln, all sorts of things can happen - unexpected drips, cracks, warps, bubbles, variations in glaze colors - all things that at one time self-prohibited me from selling my work.
