With pottery in general, you can countless hours of love and care into each piece, but then you have to turn everything over to the mercy of the firing kiln. Within that kiln, all sorts of things can happen - unexpected drips, cracks, warps, bubbles, variations in glaze colors - all things that at one time self-prohibited me from selling my work. Now, I actually love a lot of these little imperfections as they give each piece its own soul and character. I truly hope you enjoy your new piece of my art.
